The first SL was Mercedes’ first racing car following the end of WW2 and was designed to be super light which is where it got the name SL.
Now over 70 years later the SL remains one of the lightest roadsters on the market, with the latest incarnation built primarily from structural aluminium which gives it a body weight 25% lighter than if it was made from steel.
The two seat convertible pairs its power with a sense of space and luxury you wouldn’t always expect from such a sporty car. There are three storage cubbies, a lockable box behind the passenger seat, and room in the boot for your luggage.
There are options that include ambient lighting with three colour choices, a panoramic roof, and a multifunction sports steering wheel with hidden gearshift paddles for a luxurious interior.
