There are a number of reasons that leasing is a great choice for your next car and we think this is especially true when leasing an electric vehicle (EV). As the whole industry shifts away from fossil fuels towards EVs the technology is being regularly updated and improved and there can be significant changes in just a few years and with a lease agreement you can regularly update your car every few years without worrying about the resale value or hassle of selling a car with older tech in it.
Additionally, leasing is a set monthly cost, which can include a maintenance package for essential work, making it easier to budget your vehicle and potentially afford a better spec than if you were buying outright.
The main difference between the Polestar 1 and Polestar 2 is that the 1 is a hybrid while the 2 is a fully electric car.
The Polestar 2 has a WLTP tested range of up to 341 miles with the long range single motor which is the largest range from the available battery choices. You’ll get a 301 range on the long range dual motor and a still impressive 297 miles from the standard range single motor.
On a standard 7 kW charger it will take the Polestar 2 11 hours to go from zero to fully charged but if you’re using one of the rapid or ultra rapid chargers you can go from 20 to 80% in just 20 minutes (with a 150 kW charger).
