The EQA is the latest fully electric Mercedes SUV to hit our roads. Mercedes are the first of the big German trio that offers you a crossover compact SUV and it follows through on the example set by its larger predecessor the Mercedes EQC.

There are currently two models available the EQA 250 Sport and the EQA 250 AMG Line. As standard, the sport includes comfort suspension, LED headlights, and a number of driver assistance systems like lane-keeping assist, blind spot assist and parking assist. You also get a dual 10-inch infotainment centre, which displays the digital instrument panel on one screen and the navigation and smart phone connectivity on the second touchscreen.

The exact range will depend on a number of factors such as the speed you’re driving, the weather, age of the battery, weight of the payload and more. It’s estimated that the EQA offers a range of up to 263 miles.
Charge time depends on the power of the charger, with a 7kW charger taking around 10 hours to charge from empty to full. To go from 20% to 80%, which is recommended to help preserve the battery, it takes around 50 minutes on a 50kW charger or 30 minutes on a 150kW charger.
