Vauxhall have announced their new Mokka-e, the electric version of the redesigned Mokka, is now available to order.
The second-generation SUV is already currently available with a petrol or diesel engine but it’s the electric engine that has us excited. With a range of 201 miles, based on WLTP testing, and 80% rapid charge is just 30 minutes at 100w fast charger.
The Mokka has been totally revamped from the previous models and it now stands out with a stylish, bold design.
The new front end of the vehicle, which includes ultra-slim LED daytime running lights and a bolder badge in the grille, has been named the Vauxhall Vizar and the manufacturer has said it will be used on other upcoming models.
It’s 125mm shorter than its predecessor but you wouldn’t know it as the Mokka has smaller front and rear overhangs and the wheelbase has been extended by 2mm. This means that it feels more compact when trying to park but maintains a similar amount of space for you and your passengers.
On the interior, there’s a large digital driver information display behind the wheel, a touchscreen entertainment centre in the centre console and high-quality materials.
There are three drive modes; normal, eco and sport. Sport gives you the best driving dynamics, while eco is the most efficient mode and normal balances the two.
The Mokka-e is available in four trim options the SE Nav Premium, SRi Nav Premium, Elite Nav Premium, and Launch Edition and you can order one today for delivery in early Spring 2021.
