1. Know Your Must Haves
The first step in getting a great lease deal is to know what your must haves are. For some people this will be the essential features they want, for others it will be a particular brand they trust, and for some it’s a minimum space or comfort requirement.
In order to get yourself the best possible deal you need to know what you need in your car so to ensure the model you choose has these features.
2. Be Flexible
Once you know what you need from your car you should then think about what points you’re willing to be flexible on, the options you would like but don’t mind sacrificing to get your essential features for a great price.
Additionally, if you are able to be flexible with details like the available features, colour, brand and when you take delivery, you’ll be able to find better deals on cars that aren’t as popular or that a dealer needs to sell quickly.
3. Be Willing to Wait
At the minute the automotive industry is experiencing unprecedented delays across all brands and with VW’s recent announcement that they are now taking orders for 2023 fulfilment on their electric vehicles (EVs) it’s likely that you might have to wait for delivery.
If you are willing to wait for delivery then you might be also be able to take advantage of some great deals that are available on factory orders.

If you’re looking for a great deal, we always recommend taking a look at what’s available on the market including on comparison sites like Carwow. It’s important to be aware when you’re looking that it will be the best offer listed and you might find that the company with the lowest initial rental might need a much higher monthly payment or that once you change the mileage to a higher limit then you might see it jump then as well.

5. Pay a Larger Initial Rental
Paying a larger initial rental payment will not reduce the overall cost of the lease agreement but by paying more in the first payment you reduce the amount left to pay over the remainder of the lease so have lower monthly payments.

Fiat 500
The Fiat 500 is one of the most popular superminis on the market. It’s a fantastic car for drivers who want a small run-around with great fuel economy, all the latest infotainment technology that’s incredibly easy to park.
It’s got a fun and recognisable exterior that makes us think of the VW beetle’s smaller sister, and there’s a range of unique colours for you to choose from.
